- On Facebook on PC, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Videos > Auto-Play Videos, and make sure it’s set to Off.On the Facebook app, go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Preferences > Media. Under Autoplay, select Never Autoplay Videos.
How to Stop Videos From Automatically Playing on Facebook
Change your video autoplay settings on Facebook from a browser on any computer.
When you disable Facebook video autoplay, you can still watch any videos you choose by selecting the Play icon on the screen. You can turn off autoplay on a computer or mobile device.

To disable Facebook video autoplay on an iOS device, you must do so from within the app.
