Spotify makes it easy to track songs you enjoy, as the Like feature lets you automatically add songs to a folder. However, you may find yourself wanting to curate your Liked Songs folder once it’s filled with hundreds or thousands of songs.

Is There a Way to Unlike All Songs on Spotify?

You can unlike all songs on any Spotify app, but only the Windows and Mac desktop apps let you delete all liked songs at once.

Here’s how to mass delete all songs on Spotify’s desktop apps:

  • Open the Spotify desktop app on your Mac or Windows computer.
  • Click the Liked Songs tab from the menu on the left.
  • Press Cmd + A on your keyboard to select all songs in the folder (Windows: Ctrl + A).
  • Right-click the highlighted songs and select Remove from your Liked Songs. Alternatively, press the Delete key on your keyboard.

How Do You Delete All Liked Songs on Spotify on Mobile?

While it’s possible to delete all of your liked songs on Spotify’s iOS and Android apps, it’s a tedious process. Neither app offers a batch delete option, which means you’ll have to tap each song individually to remove it.

The process of deleting liked songs is nearly identical on Windows and Mac. The screenshots below correspond to the Spotify app for Mac, but Windows-specific commands are noted where appropriate. 

Open the Spotify desktop app on your Mac or Windows computer.

Click the Liked Songs tab from the menu on the left.

Press Cmd + A on your keyboard to select all songs in the folder (Windows: Ctrl + A).

Right-click the highlighted songs and select Remove from your Liked Songs. Alternatively, press the Delete key on your keyboard.

Unfortunately, you can’t batch select all songs in your Liked Songs folder using Cmd + A or Ctrl + A on the Spotify Web Player (browser app). It can only be done on the downloadable Windows and Mac desktop apps.

Follow the steps below to remove liked Spotify songs on mobile:

  • Open the Spotify app and tap Your Library in the bottom-right corner.
  • Tap Liked Songs.
  • Find a song you’d like to remove and tap the Heart icon.
  • Tap Remove.
  • Alternatively, you can click the Three Dots (…) to the right of the Heart icon and then tap Liked to remove a song.

How Do I Reset My Liked Songs on Spotify?

Unlike your Spotify playlists, there is no way to delete the Liked Songs folder. The only way to reset it is to delete songs from it. However, you don’t need to mass delete all of your liked songs. If you’d like to curate your Liked Songs folder while keeping specific tracks, use the method below to manually delete batches of songs at once:
