What to Know
- Single: Select to copy > go to Animations > Advanced Animation > Animation Painter > select object to apply.Multiple: Select to copy > go to Animations > Advanced Animation > Animation Painter > select multiple objects.
Copy an Animation Effect to a Single Object
The Animation Painter copies the animation effects of one object (and all the settings applied to that animated object), to another object (or many objects) with a single click of the mouse on each new object.
- Select the slide which contains the animation you wish to copy.
- Go to Animations.
- Select the object that contains the animation you want to duplicate.
- In the Advanced Animation group, select Animation Painter. Note that the mouse cursor changes to an arrow with a paint brush.
- Select the object to which you wish to apply this same animation.
- This animation and all its settings are applied to the new object.
Copy an Animation to Several Objects
- Select the object that contains the desired animation.
- Go to Animations.
- In the Advanced Animation group, double-click Animation Painter. Note that the mouse cursor changes to an arrow with a paintbrush.
- Select the first object to which you wish to apply this same animation.
- This animation and all its settings are applied to the new object.
- Continue to select other objects that require the animation.
- To turn off the Animation Painter, select Animation Painter again.
