This article explains how to view an attached image immediately in an incoming Yahoo Mail message without downloading the file. This is possible only in the latest version of Yahoo Mail, not Yahoo Mail Basic.

How to View an Image in Yahoo Mail
You can show images immediately in an individual email, or adjust your settings to always see them in all emails. Here’s how.
- In the body of an email, select Show Images to view them in this instance, or select Always show images to quickly enable showing all images.
- To enable through Settings, select Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Select More Settings.
- On the left panel, select Viewing email.
- Under the section Show images in messages, select Always, except in spam folder.
How to View an Image in Yahoo Mail Basic
If you use Yahoo Mail Basic, images do not show up immediately in an email. Instead, you see a link icon with a Save button under it. Saving the link downloads the file to your computer so you can open an application and view it.
