Android developers have updated the latest platform distribution statistics which show that Gingerbread is still on top with 36.5% share whereas Jellybean is coming strong now with 33% share. Ice Cream Sandwich comes third with 25.6% and other versions of Android are barely running.

Only last month’s data show that all android platforms other than Jellybean have lost their shares- Giggerbread is down 2% and Ice Cream Sandwich down 1.9% whereas Jellybean is up 4.6%. Looks like Jellybean will soon  reach the top spot with more people installing custom version of jellybean such as cyanogenmod 10.1 or buying newer devices that come with Jellybean and also many carriers are rolling out latest jellybean updates for their customers.
