Microsoft has introduced a new keyboard, it’s called the Microsoft Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID, and while it’s identical to the Surface Keyboard with aluminum body, this new one includes a fingerprint reader with support for Windows Hello on Windows 10.
There is one more difference with the Microsoft Modern Keyboard. Unlike the Surface Keyboard, the new accessory ships with a USB cable that you can use for wired connection if a Bluetooth isn’t available.
The fingerprint reader is conveniently integrated as a mechanical key next to Alt key on the right side, and you can use it to quickly sign in to Windows 10 and on supported apps and web services.
Microsoft’s new Modern Keyboard is expected to be available now in the Microsoft Store, and it’s be priced at $129.99.
While the price is a little bit in the premium side for keyboard, this Modern Keyboard is not only one of the best desktop keyboard, but it’s also perhaps one of the best way to add secure biometric authentication to your desktop computer.

Alongside the keyboard, there is also the new Microsoft Modern Mouse, which is identical to the Surface Mouse in every angle, even in the metal scroll wheel. The new mouse is expected to be available soon, and it’ll cost $49.99 at the Microsoft Store.
