Microsoft is launching its rebranded news feed, now known as Microsoft Start.

The announcement was made on the company’s Windows Experience Blog, where it revealed that Start is building on top of the legacy of the MSN feed and Microsoft News.

Start is a personalized news feed with content coming from over 1,000 global publishers. The feed uses the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning to help people stay updated on news stories relevant to their interests.

As a user spends more time curating their feed, it will morph to suit their needs. Or those users can directly manage their news feeds using the Personalize button.

Microsoft Start also includes information cards that display updates on topics such as the weather and traffic at a single glance. The interactive maps display information on air quality and severe weather events to better prepare its users.

In addition, users can configure these cards to display sports scores and stock market movements in real-time.

Start also has a high level of utility. It stays consistent regardless of which device you use—laptops to smartphones and even web browsers. Even Google Chrome supports the personalized feed.

Microsoft Start is currently available on the News and Interest experience in Windows 10, as a standalone website, and as a mobile app for both Android and iOS. It will even be included in Windows 11 as a part of its Widgets experience.
