Microsoft wants you to upgrade your Surface to Surface Pro 3. If you own any Surface tablet, you’ll be happy to hear that the software giant is now running a trade-in promotional offer, which rewards loyal customers with up to $650 on store credit to purchase a new Pro 3.
Getting the trade-in deal is simple, you only need to own any version of Surface in working condition (though Microsoft has a list of requirements in order to consider your device as in “working condition”), then go to the Surface Trade-In website to claim your voucher. The only downside is that you’ll need to own a Surface Pro 3 in order to get close to the $650 credit. For example, a Surface RT will only get you $84 and a Surface Pro 2 will get you up to $361.
It’s worth noting that the promotional offer will only run from February 15 through March 8, 2015, and the offer is only available in the US and Canada. In addition, the trade-in voucher must be used before April 8, 2015.
